MAWSC CODE OF CONDUCT

The objective of the Code of Conduct is to ensure that all associated with the Club uphold the principles of fair play and conduct themselves in a fair and generous manner, respecting members of the Club, opposition players, umpires, officials and supporters.

MAWSC CULTURAL SAFETY AND INCLUSION POLICY

The Falcons Cultural Safety and Inclusion Policy ensures that all individuals connected with the club, whether as committee members, players, volunteers, supporters or members of the public affected by club activities feel culturally safe, acknowledged, respected and valued. The Cultural Safety and Inclusion Policy outlines how the Club will establish and uphold standards of behavior that creates an environment of equality and non-discrimination.

MAWSC SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

This policy is designed to provide clear guidelines and expectations for the use of our social media accounts, ensuring that our online presence reflects the professional and respectful standards upheld by our organisation

MAWSC LGBTIQA+ INCLUSION POLICY

These guidelines aim to set a standard for the inclusion LGBTIQA+ people in the region. The club encourages participation for people to come as they are, their true and authentic selves. As such, the Mt Alexander Women’s Sports Club is committed to supporting people to participate, celebrating all sexualities and as the gender people identify, regardless of their sex assigned at birth. The club strives to create an environment that structurally and culturally supports these identities.

MAWSC LGBTIQA+ INCLUSIVE LANGUAGE GUIDE

This guide explains how to use language respectfully and inclusively when working with and referring to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex, and queer and questioning people.

MAWSC FIRST NATIONS INCLUSION POLICY

Mt Alexander Women’s Sports Club aims to empower anyone to realise their right to feel included within the Club. The Club and its representatives believe that equitable access to football is a fundamental human right and vital to an inclusive and accessible society for all.

The Club is committed to providing a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for First Nations staff, players, coaches, officials, spectators and members of the public associated with the Club. The club believes that everyone has the right to participate in a safe, respectful and welcoming environment.

MAWSC FIRST NATIONS INCLUSION ACTION PLAN

The Mount Alexander Women’s Sports Club First Nations Inclusion Action Plan outlines actions the Club will take to increase the accessibility, inclusion and participation of First Nations people in all activities of the Club. This Plan is based on principles outlined in the MAWSC First Nations Inclusion Policy, and seeks to provide tangible actions for the Club to undertake in support of this policy.
